Discovery Gateway 11/5/2011

Michelle and Burdette gave us tickets to go to Discovery Gateway for Christmas. We finally used them almost a year later. It was so much fun and I was really glad that they came with is. It was much more fun than it would have been with out them. Hours of fun.

Carving pumpkins 10/29/2011

I just love Halloween and especially carving pumpkins. We let the kids pick out their own. I got some Mr. potato head style witch peices for Leah but she wanted to carve one so she helped me carve mine. I also really like this picture of Jon. Daniel drew the face and carved his all by himself.

James and Macie actually carved their pumpkins with us but they did theirs outside, because of the lack of space in the dining room. Some how this was the only picture I took of them that turned out.

Halloween! 10/31/2011

October conference Passey breakfast in the canyon 10/1/2011

Every October before the Saturday morning session of General Conference The Howard Passey family get together and have breakfast together, usually in American fork canyon. It is usually cold but it is always fun. We really had some beautiful leaves this year. Leah thought it was also great to see her baby cousin Hyrum.

I love it when these two get together.

That was a really yummy breakfast, makes me salivate just thinking about it.

I did find this great picture of the party I went to with my highschool friends who decided to have their own party instead of going to their 10 year class reunion. which is why I got to go. (I was in the year before them) It was a lot of fun and we are planning to do it again.

Leah makes a little friend 10/12/2011

Leah found a millipede. She thought it was pretty cool. She liked how it tickled her fingers with its legs. I remember being fascinated with bugs when I was a kid. Now I really have no desire to pick them up and examine them like this.haha

Daniel starts Kindergarten 8/30/2011

I just had to include this cute picture of my cute kids. They play so great together.

Daniel loved his first day of kindergarten. He was also very excited to ride the bus to school. His teacher put a sticker with the address of each kid on the kids that ride the bus so the bus driver could make sure they got off on the right stop. I thought that was very smart and was grateful. He had a great day and was excited to go back.

A fun and wet Family Home Evening 8/15/5011

The kids and I started the day in Heber. They hung out with Grandma Jacobson while I did a little work.

Then we came home and got Dad and drove then walked up to the falls. It really was beautiful.
We waded around a bit. And got our picture taken.


On the way back it started to rain really hard. It even hailed a bit. We had to hide under the trees until the hail turned back into rain. Daniel loves playing in the rain.
By the time we got back to the parking lot there were some pretty big puddles, so we did what any one would have done and jumped and splashed in them.
It was still raining. And it was a lot of fun. So fun that we had to stop at Farr's Ice Cream bar and get a treat.
